DONALD J. KRAVETFormerly associated with one of the world's largest international law firms, Mr. Kravet has extensive experience in handling domestic and international litigation and arbitration. Mr. Kravet holds an advanced law degree (LL.M.) in International Legal Studies and has been an Adjunct Professor of International Litigation at New York Law School. Mr. Kravet has represented banks, multinational corporations, trading companies and various business entities, large and small, as well as high net worth individuals. Areas of the law in which he has significant experience include contracts, securities, secured transactions, intellectual property, employment, real estate, and bankruptcy. Mr. Kravet holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and a Juris Doctorate from the Boston University School of Law (1983) where he was named an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar based on his academic achievement. He also holds a B.A. degree from George Washington University, where he was on the Dean's List and elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Kravet has previously published various articles on subjects in his areas of practice and is listed in Who's Who in American Law. JOSEPH A. VOGELPrior to founding Kravet & Vogel, LLP, Mr. Vogel was a partner in the New York office of DeMartino Finkelstein Rosen & Virga, handling all aspects of commercial, real estate, business and bankruptcy litigation. Prior to joining the DeMartino firm, Mr. Vogel was Special Litigation Counsel with Hahn & Hessen, one of the leading bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation firms in New York City. Practicing since 1982, Mr. Vogel has had extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and business disputes, representing banks, factors, textile and apparel manufacturers, leasing companies, corporations, partnerships, individuals and bankruptcy trustees. Areas of law in which he has had significant experience include contracts, securities, secured transactions, banking, factoring, creditors' rights and foreclosures, bankruptcy, letters of credit transactions, textile and apparel industry disputes, real estate and construction litigation. Mr. Vogel holds a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law (1981) where he graduated with dean's list honors and with honors in secured transactions, as well as a B.S. degree in Economics from St. John's University, College of Business Administration (1978), magna cum laude . Mr. Vogel is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in New York. Mr. Vogel is an active member of several bar associations' committees including the New York County Lawyers Association Committee on Professional Ethics. MARIA E. RODIMs. Rodi graduated from the St. John’s University School of Law. Prior to becoming associated with K&V, she was a prosecutor working in a trial bureau as well as in the Appeals Bureau. HOWARD AUGUSTMr. August has made a specialty of legal research in all areas of the law. He is admitted to the bars of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Mr. August received his undergraduate education and New York University where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa . He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1988. SCOTT H. GREENFIELDScott H. Greenfield, who is of counsel to Kravet & Vogel, LLP, brings an added dimenstion to our services. With nearly 25 years experience in white collar criminal defense and related legal services, Scott has substantial experience in trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts in New York, as well as across the nation, earning him an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbeell and widespread recognition. Scott has been a regular TV commentator, ranging from ABC News to 60 Minutes, author, and educator, as a faculty member of the Cardozo Law School Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. He is listed in Who's Who in the World, America, and American Law.
